Character Description: Caroline is the only child of Raymond Fissure; a jack-of-all-trades scientist who specializes in biological engineering.
Caroline was always an incredibly gifted child: she could speak articulately by 2 months, learned to read and write at 10 months, built her first motherboard at 2 years-old, and at 4 years-old she was working competently with her father in the lab.
Caroline is very skilled at building and programing advanced robotics from her father’s blueprints, but she has always preferred to invent her own machines. Unfortunately, her ambition combined with impatience makes her prone to skipping important planning processes, causing her to make fatal errors in her final products.
On one unfortunate morning, 14-year-old Caroline discovered the bisected body of Xack floating in a polluted river after his encounter with Vittoro.
After alerting her father, they discovered that he was still alive, and in fact, the combination of chemicals in the lake he floated in was preserving him in a way that kept his organs from shutting down.
Raymond studied him tirelessly, and learned how to reverse engineer the compound for medical applications, becoming highly renowned for the discovery.
This earned him the attention of the still secret insurgent; Vittoro, who began commissioning the Fissure family for a variety of custom robotics and prosthetics.
as years passed, Raymond used innovations he developed in his partnership with Vittoro to adapt Xack's exposed anatomy for robotic prosthetics of his own, but soon learned that the machines he was building were being weaponized to wage war on humanity.
This perversion of his work prompted Raymond to rebuff Vittoro and refuse to continue building his would-be army, but it was too late.
Vittoro's intellectuals had already mass produced the weaponized Fissure-products, and thus Raymond's work was no longer needed.
To punctuate the end of their partnership, vittoro's lieutenant; wollec left a group of modified Fissure androids to eliminate Raymond and his daughter.
However, thanks to some quick-thinking and a handful of traps built by Caroline, the assassination attempt was ultimately unsuccessful.
Raymond's injuries made it difficult for him to continue his work, so While Vittoro laid waste to humanity's defenses with the help of their technology, Raymond dedicated the remainder of his life on the education of his daughter; who had developed an affinity for robotics engineering.
Together, they used the remains of the defeated combat androids to build Xack's new left half to be far superior to Vittoro's mass produced army, perhaps even strong enough to take down the dark emperor himself one-on-one.
Alas, the doctor would not live to see the fruits of this labor, and perished 3 years before Xack would awaken to take the fight to vittoro's forces.
Until then, Caroline frantically jumped from project to project, building all manner of weapons and gadgets to aid the struggling rebellion, occasionally tinkering with Xack's design.
Despite the circumstances behind her current situation; Caroline never gave in to despair.
She remained hopeful, cheerful, and passionate even as the dark army subjugated humanity and enforced the new world-order.
